AMD BIOS Guide
Optimize your RAM performance and system stability by configuring memory overclocking settings in BIOS. This guide walks you through enabling XMP/EXPO/DOCP profiles and adjusting advanced DRAM timing parameters.
Proceed with caution.
Changing BIOS values can affect stability. Note your original settings before you begin, and test your system after applying changes.
Select your motherboard brand
Steps
ASUS- 1Load defaults & advanced
First, press load optimized defaults or F5. After that press F7 or Advanced mode.
This will restore BIOS to factory default values and switch to advanced view.
- 2Tweaker
Click the AI Tweaker or Extreme Tweaker tab (normally the second tab from the left)
There you will click ai overclock tuner and select expo 1, docp, or xmp 1 (may vary for each ram kit).
- 3DRAM timing control
Scroll down to DRAM timing control
Once you're inside, scroll down again until you find refresh interval. Type and set a value of 32767.
- 4Save & exit
Save and exit
After that simply press F10 or Fn + 0 to save and exit BIOS.
